Hello…I’m Starla Kay Mathis

Starla Kay Mathis is an Indianapolis Published Photographer, and her work have been featured in MORE Magazine and Indy Maven. Mathis Media Studio is an Indianapolis Photography Studio specializing in Portrait, Family, Milestone, Seniors, Newborn, Weddings, and “In The Box” Photography.

My love of photography runs deep; my PawPaw loved photography, and I have many of his ol’ school cameras 📸. My husband supported my dreams of becoming a photographer when our son was born in 2009, and I wanted to cherish every milestone of him! I’ll never forget my first camera @canonusa Rebel and my first photo session with our son on the railroad 🛤️ tracks, and a policeman informed us that we couldn’t take photos here…but we got the shot!

I married my college sweetheart, and we have two amazing children and own @mathis.media, a full-service media and marketing agency specializing in photography, filmmaking, website design, and marketing. I also founded @createconnectcollab, a supportive community for women business owners.

Outside of doing what I love…I enjoy coloring while relaxing and watching my shows, and being the loudest supporter of my amazing children and husband 🥰

Marketing Policy - By participating in our session, you grant us permission to use photos for marketing and promotional purposes.

SMS Policy - By booking, you agree to receive SMS updates related to your session.

Privacy Policy - We value your privacy and will never share, sell, or distribute your personal information without your consent.

Cancellation Policy
Photography sessions are non-refundable. Due to the extensive setup process, we are unable to reschedule sessions due to conflicts, illness, or late arrivals. Upon booking a session, no refunds, returns, or exchanges are allowed. In the unlikely event that Mathis Media, LLC is unable to perform the session due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of Mathis Media, LLC, the company will make every effort to secure a replacement.
